Artist Statement
My current body of work portrays figures and objects within barren, surreal landscapes. The use of color and symbolism are utilized to bring forth that which resides in the unconscious mind onto a two dimensional plane. There is a deliberate relationship between the figures and objects within these scenes; a juxtaposition which references the physical and metaphysical attributes of the human experience.
